This department will support the district's mission statement by providing a safe, reliable and efficient technology enviroment in which all users have the tools necessary to facilitate learning, engage in learning and administer the day-to-day business of the district. To those ends, the Department of Technology will safeguard the data and systems of the environment with the pragmatically least restrictive protocols, practices and policies. Technology will transform Derby Public Schools' technology deployments into a 21st century learning environment by implementing a whatever, wherever, whenever paradigm for accessing data.
